AI Nesting Workbench brings nest planning into Acumatica for sheet-metal and 2D-cutting manufacturers using laser, plasma, waterjet or punch equipment. Instead of moving production data between ERP and standalone nesting tools, planners can manage the nesting workflow from the production orders it supports.

Open cutting operations are automatically grouped by material and thickness, then presented with three nest layout options. The planner chooses the best configuration before approving the nest and writing the results back to Acumatica.

Reusable offcuts can become real inventory items with recorded dimensions and bin locations, while DXF revision control helps ensure the shop floor is always working from the active cutting file.
